Why are my balloons different sizes?

If you have multiple PDF drawings in your project, and your balloons are different sizes on each drawing, here's how you can fix it.

In Ideagen QC ( InspectionXpert), balloon sizes are based on font sizes, which changes the relative balloon size on PDF documents that are printed with different dimensions.

For example , if you have two PDF documents in your drawing , and one is 8 1/2" X 11" , while the other is 40" X 28", Two ballons of the same font size will be different on each document:font size

If you copy/paste a balloon from one PDF to another, or create different balloons on each PDF, the balloons will be different sizes.

One solution is to change the balloon font sizes for each individual balloon manually utilizing the font size dropdown:

Another solution is to "Re-Print" the PDF file in a 3rd party PDF application such as Adobe PDF. 

You can determine the size of a PDF file by looking at the "Document Properties" in your PDF application:
