    Why am I receiving the message, 'Invalid Serial Number'?

    There is a problem with the serial number I entered

    This knowledge-base article discusses what steps to take if you receive the following message when entering your serial number:

    Why am I receiving this message?

    The Invalid Serial Number prompt likely means one of the following:

    1.       Your Serial Number has not been entered into the Licensing section of your InspectionXpert Options
    2.       You've entered your Serial Number incorrectly
    3.       Your Serial Number has expired or is no longer valid

    What now?

    1. Retrieve your Serial Number if you don't know it

      To retrieve your Serial Number, please go to inspectionxpert.com/login where you will enter your User name and Password to access the Download Portal. On the "Licenses" tab, you will be able to find your Serial Number that can be copied & pasted into the Licensing area of the software.

    2. Enter your Serial Number into the Licensing section of the InspectionXpert Options

      If not already presented with an area to enter your Serial number, please follow these steps to do so.

      Step-by-Step Guide:

      1. Click on the File tab or Home tab
      2. Select "Options"
      3. Click on the "Licensing" section
      4. Enter your serial number in the space provided
      5. Click on "Check for License" to verify it works
