Learn how to use Custom Field Mapping to upload custom columns to Net-inspect
If you've added custom fields to your ballooned project, you can upload the recorded data along with the rest of your captured data to net-inspect.
- First, set up your custom fields in Options / Lists:

- Next, set up the Net-inspect custom field mapping in Options/Net-inspect. In this case, a custom field called "My Custom Field" is mapped to a Net-inspect column header labeled "Custom Field Name". Be sure to check the "Publish" check box:
Next, apply the custom field values to your captured characteristics:
When you upload your project to Net-inspect, your custom field values will appear in an additional column in your report starting with column 14a:
